Taylor Mentioned in Chemical Distributor Magazine

Chemistree Lighting Ceremony

Students helped decorate the department’s annual “Chemistree” during labs this week. Students decorated the tree with things from the labs, from weighing boats to rubber gloves. The TU alumni will appreciate this tradition. As usual, Santa is hiding nearby.

Senior Thesis Presentation and Italian Dinner

The department celebrated our first Senior Thesis presentation of the year with an Italian dinner (by the faculty) and a presentation by senior Katie Speidel.  Some photos from the dinner are posted on the Life page.

Euler Science Complex Construction update

The steel for the bridges between the new Euler Science Complex and the current Nussbaum Science Building have been put in place.  A photo of the 3rd floor bridge and the future chemistry floor under snow is posted on the Life page.

Dec. Department Social

The final department gathering of the fall is set for Thursday, December 9th, at 5:15.
We will enjoy some food and fellowship before hearing one of our seniors present her senior thesis.  The event should wrap up before 7:00.
