Hoosier River Watch
On Saturday, September 27th, Dr. King and several students from the Environmental Chemistry class helped to training area middle school teachers to monitor local streams and rivers with their students as part of the Hoosier River Watch program. Specifically, Dr. King and the Environmental Chemistry students were responsible for training the teachers to perform a battery of chemical tests to assess the water quality of streams and rivers. The state-wide River Watch program encourages middle school science classes to perform routine river quality assessments and reporting of data
