Local Watershed Study - Environmental Chemistry

Students in the Environmental Chemistry course performed a chemical assessment of the local Mississinewa watershed. Following a significant rain, students dispersed across the county collecting water samples from each significant tributary to and including the Mississinewa River. Dissolved oxygen, nitrate, total nitrogen, ammonia, phosphate, total phosphorus, pH, conductivity, and turbidity levels were tested.
